With easy access to the highways and only a mere 35 minute drive to Durban's airport, Falcon Crest Manor House lies quietly awaiting your arrival, come relax and enjoy the tranquillity and splendour. We are a short drive from Pietermaritzburg and the Midlands Meander and within sight of Durban and it's beautiful beaches. The Comrades marathon and Amashova cycle race pass our front gates. Kearsney College is a few metres up the road and if you are in town for the Dusi Canoe Marathon we are five minutes from the Inanda Dam.

ACCOMMODATION 

The Manor House offers two indoor suites and four garden cottages. The rooms are beautifully appointed with M-Net television, a tea and coffee station and bathroom facilities. Wireless Internet enables you to connect at your leisure.

Should you require additional rooms, we have a number of bed and breakfast establishments situated within walking distance. It will be our pleasure to co-ordinate these additional reservations on your behalf

 As we are situated at the start of the Valley of 1000 Hills route you will be spoilt with choice. We are able to cater for the adventurous outdoor spirit or the more discerning character. Who would have imagined that wild life viewing could be so close to home? There are an abundance of activities within a five-kilometre radius. The Valley of a Thousand Hills experience is a rejuvenating day or weekend getaway that is guaranteed to soothe your soul. The Heritage market offers a unique shopping experience and the restaurant strip boasts a variety of buzzing restaurants offering excellent cuisine as well as live entertainment.

All rooms have television as well as tea and coffee facilities. Our rooms have double beds however are spacious enough for a single bed to be added.

Rates are inclusive of Breakfast:
A selection of two cereals, yoghurt, fresh fruit and fruit juice.
Fried or scrambled eggs, Bacon, Sausage, Grilled Tomato, Toast and Preserves.
Tea and Coffee.

Falcon Crest Estate is situated on Hillcrest Old Main Road at the beginning of the 1000 hills route, approximately 200m before Kearsney College. An airport shuttle can be arranged on request at a cost of R220.00.

Our facilities include four function rooms, a cosy bar with an open view deck where one can sip cocktails in the summer or enjoy a blazing fire during the cool winter evenings. Our chapel is situated on the Estate and a wedding ceremony can be held in the Gazebo with the valley views in the distance. A swimming pool with braai facilities is situated in the beautiful landscaped gardens. Our accommodation with personalised service at its best, is why it is a favourite with intimate attention to detail, comfort and simplicity.

We pride ourselves as being one of the major conference organisers in the Highway area and offer a decade of experience in this field. Our team have in the past organised conferences and seminars for a diverse range of companies; all of which have had different requirements and expectations.

Day conference package:

Weddings

at Falcon Crest Manor House

Exchange your vows in our quaint stone chapel then celebrate your union in our sophisticated and intimate reception venue which is a stones throw away.

Overlooking the majestic Valley of a Thousand Hills with a stunning view of Inanda Dam, our Gazebo offers a unique ceremony venue. Alternatively, the quaint stone Chapel is nestled amongst beautiful gardens with prolific plant and bird life. We can assist in arranging a non-denominational minister with music of your choice.

The Gazebo and Chapel are reserved exclusively for couples holding their reception at the Manor House, however it may be booked for a ceremony only provided the service is held before 13h00. The cost thereof is R1500.00. This rate is adjusted if you utilise both the ceremony and reception venue

There is only one magical venue for an unforgettable wedding and romantic reception. The Terrace, with its doors leading onto the manicured gardens which overlook the mesmerizing valley, offers an ambiance hard to beat. The Manor House has, for many years, proudly assisted in celebrating the union of couples from around the world. We have recently enrolled the services of an experienced function co-ordinator in the Highway area. This specialist has been in the service industry for nine years and, together with an award winning executive chef, offer an abundance of experience ensuring quality and service, enabling you to relax and enjoy your dream wedding with peace of mind.

The menu that is served on your special day will depict your own personal style. We will discuss this in person. To assist you with your menu creation we have compiled three menus for your perusal.

Our package has been structured to cater for all your basic requirements ensuring that there are no surprise charges. This package can be enhanced as we have a number of additional services available to you, hassle free. Please note that due to the popularity, setting and nature of our business we adhere strictly to our reservation conditions.

Your Honeymoon After your last guest has left, retire to our spacious well appointed honeymoon suite and celebrate your future in privacy over a glass of champagne. Wake up to the wonderful view of the valley and the distant Inanda dam. Enjoy an intimate breakfast either in the privacy of your suite or under the Gazebo overlooking the valley and gardens
